Journeyman Electrician

95% of work is Prevailing Wage, so pay will be based per the DIR Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems Use hand and power tools Adhere to state and local building regulations Complete work orders on time Create records of materials used Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs Installs, repairs, replaces and maintains electric wiring systems and components, equipment and apparatus in or on buildings or structures in accordance with the provisions of pertinent plans and specifications or job orders. Installs, repairs, replaces and maintains electric wiring systems and components and traffic signals and controllers. Installs conduit, raceway and electrical conductors. Makes tests on existing installations to determine faults and makes necessary repairs. Keeps job and other records. May supervise assigned personnel. Five years of full-time, paid experience in or on buildings as an Electrician working on the installation, repair or maintenance of high or low potential electrical systems for light, heat and power A plus if you have knowledge in low voltage including but not limited to: Install hardware, including PCs, Printers, fiber enclosures, racks, backboards, and patch panels Install, troubleshoot, terminate, test and maintain data cables and copper and fiber cabling infrastructure as per the standards of PCS wireless Choose and verify cable pathways, assist in designing, creating and implementing standards and specifications, oversee the progress of cabling projects Maintain all documents related to cabling infrastructure, carry out installation of cable supports network cable and pathways, testing and troubleshooting correctly copper installations, troubleshoot attendant cabling AV issues Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams

Electrical Experience:
