Job Description

As a Water Treatment Plant Instrument and Controls Electrician, based in Woodland-Davis, CA, you'll join a team of multi-discipline technical experts, ensuring that our clients can deliver their products and services - uninterrupted. We'll give you the tools to become the expert on the electrical systems that support our client's operations and keep their people safe. You'll apply your expertise to drive your team's success in the safe, reliable, and time-critical operation, maintenance, and repair of mission-essential instrumentation, control, and medium voltage electrical systems. This includes PLC based control systems, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and SCADA software and hardware, as well as associated power distribution equipment such as motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), transformers, switchgear, and related facilities infrastructure. In this role, you'll ensure the integrity and performance of both control and electrical systems by supporting installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities, with a strong emphasis on electrical safety, system reliability, and regulatory compliance in a continuous operation environment.   • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least 5+ years of related commercial and industrial maintenance experience
  • Varied electrical and mechanical experience
  • Proven understanding of PLC, DDC, SCADA, and HMI system components and theory
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings
Knowledge of CMMS Ideally, You'll Also Have:
  • Electrician Trainee (ET) or Certified Electrician
  • CWEA Electrical & Instrumentation Technologist Certification II
  • Technical or associates degree in related field
