Electrical is a traveling company. Candidates MUST be willing to travel throughout California and work away from home when project demands require it. Only applicants with a valid California Certified Journeyman Electrician Card will be considered. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and solar environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform electrical work efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system functionality. Work on low-voltage systems as required while ensuring compliance with NEC standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams to complete projects safely and on schedule. Renovate and upgrade existing electrical installations to meet current codes and standards. Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Travel to project sites throughout California as required. Qualifications & Skills Valid California Certified Journeyman Electrician Card (Required) Must be willing and able to travel throughout California. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations. Experience in solar, commercial, and industrial electrical work preferred. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
