In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from construction sites to ongoing maintenance operations, contributing to the safety and functionality of our facilities. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code). Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other testing devices to identify faults accurately. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Perform maintenance on low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Collaborate with construction teams to frame carpentry elements that support electrical installations on construction sites. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations related to construction site experience and electrical standards. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Hands-on experience with construction site work, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and framing carpentry is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; as well as testing instruments like ohmmeters and ammeters. Knowledge of low voltage systems as well as high voltage safety procedures and regulations. Familiarity with NEC standards for electrical wiring and installation practices. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret construction plans effectively. Strong problem-solving skills combined with meticulous attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on construction sites or maintenance projects.
