JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN - COLORADO SPRINGS, CO
⚡JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team on residential apartment building projects in the Colorado Springs area. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in multi-unit residential construction. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical work while meeting project timelines and quality standards. DUTIES Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in apartment buildings and multi-unit residential settings Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute residential electrical installations Perform rough-in wiring, panel work, and finish trim-out on new construction and renovation projects Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), Colorado state standards, and local Colorado Springs regulations Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (ohmmeters, voltage testers, etc.) to perform precise, quality work Coordinate with construction crews on-site to align electrical tasks with framing, inspections, and general construction schedules Conduct inspections of rough and finish electrical work to identify and correct issues before inspection Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sitesREQUIREMENTS
Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician license (required) Proven experience as a house wireman — multi-unit residential or apartment building experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of NEC standards and Colorado electrical codes Hands-on experience with residential rough-in, panel installation, and finish work Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices Ability to read blueprints and work independently on-site Reliable, professional, and safety-focusedCOMPENSATION
$45/hr If you take pride in quality residential work and want to join a team that values skilled tradespeople, we want to hear from you. We work on apartments across the West, guaranteed work for 1 year but after that we aren't certain to have work in Colorado after that. If you are open to moving with us then there is possibility of future continued employment.Pay:
