Primary Responsibilities:
Supervision, code oversight, planning, and lay out for the installation of electrical, controls, and conduit systems for Plumbing, Mechanical, and HVAC systems. Can demonstrate the ability to lead, supervise, and support a crew of up to 8 electrician and controls technicians. Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret electrical, controls, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications for residential and commercial electrical equipment, controls, wiring and cabling piping installations. Per code requirement, can successfully demonstrate performing the math calculations necessary to properly size electrical and control systems. Demonstrates an excellent working knowledge of electrical and controls wiring, cabling, and conduit piping theory. Successfully supervise install, repair, or replace electrical and controls systems including but not limited to: service panels, disconnects, circuit breakers, switches, fuses, conduit, junction boxes, connectors, fittings, wiring, cabling, controllers, control boards, actuators, motors, contactors, capacitors, relays, timers, thermostats, and testing equipment for residential and commercial electrical installations. Verify compliance and functionality of installations. Correcting piping, wiring, cabling, connections, and terminations on equipment as required. Troubleshoot and test wiring and control systems voltage imbalances and grounded circuits. Successfully completes manufacturers or company's start-up or commissioning procedures and paperwork completely and accurately. Ability to perform service and warranty callbacks. Performs preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems including electrical and controls distribution systems. Demonstrates an excellent working knowledge of electrical and controls code requirements, and company quality control protocols. Demonstrates the ability to coordinate with other trades on jobsites, work alone, or as part of a team. Maintains workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met. Attends all required and pre-scheduled training classes for personal and professional advancement. Listen to, assist, learn from, and pay attention to instructions from supervisors, coordinators, and more experienced personnel. Oversees that appropriate employee safety training is completed, certifications are maintained, and compliance is enforced. Trains and coaches less skilled electricians. Other duties, responsibilities, tasking, and special projects as assigned by management or ownership.
Job Requirements:
Maintains a State of Colorado Master Electrical License in good standing. High school diploma or GED certificate is required. Minimum 8 to 10 years of commercial/industrial/residential electrical experience. Valid Colorado driver's license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years. Must successfully complete background check, drug screen, physical conditions of employment job screen, and team interview as condition of employment. Working knowledge of personal protective equipment and safety practices. Good work ethic and the desire to advance professionally and personally. Demonstrate the ability to work alone or part of a team. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and work proficiency with computers and hand-held devices such as smart phones, tablets, etc. Good listening and communication skills in order to communicate clearly with customers, fellow technicians, support staff, and supervisory personnel. Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions on rooftops, outside of buildings, and residences, crawlspaces, attics, and other types of confined spaces. Work from either a step ladder, extension ladder, or man lift with no fear of heights. Demonstrate good customer service skills, communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and common-sense judgement. Ability to maintain a positive, willing, and trainable attitude. Work flexible hours and some overtime on occasion depending on service access requirements.

$50.60 - $66.22 per hour
