Are ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and installations in both commercial and residential settings. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential environments. Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues. Conduct renovations involving electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations during all work performed. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems. Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role within the electrical field. Proficiency in working with high voltage and low voltage systems. Familiarity with commercial electrician duties, including installation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Experience using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. A valid electrician's license or certification is preferred. Experience in renovation projects is a plus.
