Position Summary:
Electrician Location:
Hamden, CT Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking an E-1 Licensed Electrician to join our team in Hamden, CT.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Factory electrical maintenance Abating unused machine drops Installing electrical drops for new machinery Disconnecting, reconnecting machinery as needed Facilities electrical maintenance Trouble shooting machine controls Installing, upgrading PLC programming
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years' experience as a licensed electrician working in an industrial/manufacturing environment Ability to troubleshoot and electrically maintain machinery, install electrical drops, wire new and used equipment Ability to program, troubleshoot and repair Siemens and Allen Bradly PLCs, as well as other control systems Familiarity with the FIXX cmms is a plus
