Job Description

Job Description Dedicated Panel Building is seeking a detail-oriented Control Panel Wiring Technician to join our growing team. Along with training this role involves assembling, wiring, and testing industrial electrical control panels in accordance with schematics, drawings, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and works well in a fast-paced shop environment. Must be able to understand a one line diagram. Responsibilities Wire industrial control panels according to electrical schematics and layout drawings Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, relays, VFDs, terminal blocks, and power supplies Perform point-to-point wiring, labeling, and cable management Read and interpret electrical prints and BOMs Test panels for accuracy, continuity, and proper operation Troubleshoot wiring issues and make corrections as needed Maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow all safety policies and quality standards Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to meet production deadlines Qualifications Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman Willingness to learn as you grow. Experience wiring control panel systems Ability to read and understand electrical schematics Familiarity with basic electrical tools and testing equipment Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team Basic knowledge of hand tools High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
