Make an Impact This M&R position is intended to give the employee a clear understanding of industrial equipment and repair of same as a top-level electrician. This position is trained on SQF principles and is required to follow them and report through the chain of command and the non-conformance program, any issues of food safety that they may encounter or observe. What You'll Do Overhauls or repairs production electrical equipment as directed by the leadperson or supervisor Performs preventative maintenance work as scheduled Maintains plant power and lighting as directed Performs bench work repairing plant electrical equipment Assists in installation of new equipment and maintains electrical working prints and manuals Performs troubleshooting with the aid of proper test equipment Works closely with mechanics when there is an electro-mechanical problem Reads and understands electrical schematics and instruction manuals relating to troubleshooting production equipment Analyzes and solves machine electrical and operational problems Performs tasks as a self-starter and performs routine programming functions Operations / Compliance Ensures all company safety and housekeeping policies are strictly followed Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition Cleans up after completing assigned tasks Acts as a mentor to less skilled team members Performs miscellaneous work as required Works as a team member in a preventative maintenance environment Tools & Systems PLC and PC operation and programming
What You Bring Required:
CT-E2 Journeyman License Average mechanical and arithmetical ability Prior knowledge and experience in basic elements of machinery Ability to comprehend and follow machine drawings and schematic prints Ability to analyze and solve machine functional problems Ability to understand and program ladder logic and be PC skilled Why Join Us Competitive pay: $33.98-$34.72/hour
