Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-minded Industrial Electrician / Automation Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our plant's operational continuity, handling everything from complex high-tension switchboards to advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting. If you have a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, and a knack for diagnosing complex system errors, we want to hear from you.
salary:
$80,000 - $110,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilities Installation & Repair:
Layout, install, and repair complex electrical equipment, including high-tension switchboards, automatic controls, and relay systems.
Plant Wiring:
Maintain all plant-wide wiring, including signal telephones, loudspeaker systems, and lighting circuits.
Controls & Switches:
Manage push-button controls, switches, cord sets, and industrial electronics.
Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections to prevent system breakdowns and ensure operational continuity.
Troubleshooting:
Identify hazards or malfunctions in electrically controlled equipment and execute effective repairs.
Inventory Management:
Recommend and order necessary spare parts and equipment to minimize downtime.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as an electrician (Industrial experience is a major plus).
Education:
Verifiable, formal training in electrical theory and safety.
Automation Skills:
strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair. Familiarity with Rockwell Automation SLCS00 is a plus.
Electrical Mastery:
Deep understanding of industrial motor control (AC/DC), inverter drives, holding circuits, and overload protection.
