Position Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support electrical distribution and industrial electrical systems in a high-performing facilities environment. This role performs troubleshooting and maintenance on control circuitry, lighting and power panels, outlets/fixtures, and specialty electrical systems up to 600V. You will also serve as a Multi-Craft Technician by assisting with other onsite maintenance needs (plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance) as assigned. The ideal candidate can read blueprints/schematics, work safely, document preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to emergencies.
Top Requirements:
Journeyman Electrician license: E1 or E2 5+ years' experience in commercial, industrial, and/or manufacturing electrical maintenance Strong troubleshooting experience with AC motor controls and electrical distribution systems up to 600 volts (primary/secondary) Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs): install, maintain, and troubleshoot Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings Experience wiring outlets, relocating fixtures, and maintaining lighting/power panels; familiarity with existing/underground raceways as applicable Demonstrated understanding of electrical components including batteries and transformers Proven PM (preventive maintenance) completion and job documentation/record keeping
