Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the electrical industry! This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned electricians on diverse construction projects. You'll develop essential skills in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and safety protocols while contributing to exciting commercial and industrial installations. Duties Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to install wiring, conduit, panels, and fixtures. Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct basic testing using tools like ohmmeters to ensure proper electrical connections and system integrity. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times. Participate in site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control processes to ensure project standards are met. Skills Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Experience with electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of NEC standards related to electrical installations. Construction site experience demonstrating reliability and teamwork skills. Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as needed during project setup or modifications. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
