- Full-time Journeyman Electrician JMW Electric | Southwest Florida Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs Area JMW Electric is seeking a skilled, dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team.

This position offers consistent work, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to work on a variety of residential and commercial electrical projects throughout Southwest Florida. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings Perform service work and diagnose electrical issues efficiently Install panels, circuits, lighting, controls, and related electrical equipment Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Mentor apprentices and less experienced electricians when needed Qualifications Journeyman-level electrical experience Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently Experience with residential, commercial, or both Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in Florida weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Preferred Qualifications Florida Journeyman License Service electrician experience Generator, panel upgrade, or commercial project experience Ability to lead small crews and manage projects What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid holidays and PTO Career advancement opportunities Stable year-round work Supportive team environment Why JMW Electric?
