Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure operational efficiency and safety within the facility. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery and equipment. Extensive electrical experience required (minimum 3-5 years). Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools. Conduct field service operations, ensuring timely and effective repairs at client locations. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. Execute stick welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Collaborate with other trades, including HVAC/R technicians and industrial electricians, to complete complex projects. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Skills Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for diagnostics and repairs. Knowledge of hydraulics systems and their applications in industrial settings. Experience with field service operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems is a plus. Competence in stick welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
