$28.00 - $32.00 per hour If you take pride in doing the job right the first time, we should talk. Hatchett Electrical Contracting is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician / Experienced Electrician to support residential, commercial, and service work throughout Northeast Florida. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who values quality workmanship, safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a professional who can work independently, solve problems, and represent our company well with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems Install and service wiring, panels, lighting, generators, and related electrical components Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, proposals, and job specifications Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and code compliance Complete work orders and required documentation accurately Maintain tools, equipment, company vehicles, and job site cleanliness Follow OSHA, NEC, local code, and company safety standards Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Journeyman Electrician license or certification preferred Minimum 5 years of recent electrical experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to work independently and manage job responsibilities Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
Full-time Approximately 40 hours per week Occasional overtime available Jacksonville, FL and surrounding Northeast Florida areas Approximately 25% local travel
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid Florida driver's license Clean driving record and insurable under company policy Ability to pass background screening Ability to pass drug screening, including marijuana Ability to work at heights, in hot attics and crawl spaces Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
