Electrical, Maintenance, Electrician Apprentice, Construction, Industrial Electrician, Electrical Apprentice, Electrician Helper, Electrical Helper, Electrical Apprenticeship Summary As a Commercial Electrician, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring safety and compliance with NEC standards. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will apply hands-on expertise with power and low-voltage wiring, schematics, and blueprint interpretation to complete projects efficiently. Your role supports facility operations, renovations, and new builds, delivering reliable electrical solutions while prioritizing quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with construction teams, read electrical plans, and apply premium skills in PLCs and industrial electrical experience to ensure optimal system performance. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems using hand and power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters in compliance with NEC standards. Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications to plan wiring layouts, identify components, and ensure accurate installations. Perform low and high voltage electrical work on construction sites, including renovations, installations, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with contractors and site teams, ensuring safety protocols, PPE use, and orderly project progress. Test systems, diagnose faults, replace defective components, and document work performed for commissioning and future reference.
