Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints, and work safely within high and low voltage environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and adherence to safety standards. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in accordance with NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete electrical installations accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical issues. Work on construction sites performing wiring for new builds or upgrades of existing electrical systems. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including proper handling of high voltage and low voltage systems. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other construction professionals such as frame carpenters and electricians to ensure project completion. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Skills Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with knowledge of NEC codes. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of electrical theory and safety procedures related to construction sites. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex electrical systems. Experience with frame carpentry is a plus for certain installation tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments. This position requires a dedicated professional with a solid foundation in electrical systems installation and maintenance, committed to safety standards and quality workmanship across diverse projects.
