Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and building codes, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, and systems on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks. Conduct inspections of electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters to ensure proper functionality. Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local regulations to maintain safety and compliance. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including frame carpenters and project managers, to coordinate work schedules. Perform testing of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring all installations meet safety requirements. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and safety protocols. Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments. Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus for understanding structural aspects related to electrical installations.
