Industrial Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery, control systems, and electrical infrastructure across various manufacturing or industrial facilities. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage circuits, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues effectively. Maintain and upgrade control systems using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize industrial automation processes. Collaborate with construction teams on site to assist with framing carpentry, schematics implementation, and renovation projects. Conduct routine inspections of electrical infrastructure on construction sites or industrial facilities to identify potential hazards or failures. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with high voltage systems and during construction or renovation activities. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and low/high voltage wiring. Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable for understanding broader electrical applications in various settings. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices safely and effectively. Knowledge of NEC standards, blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction site safety practices. Ability to work on renovation projects or new construction sites involving framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed. Strong electrical experience combined with construction site experience to handle diverse environments confidently. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly under pressure while adhering to safety regulations.
