In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations while adhering to all safety standards and electrical codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the electrical trade. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately execute electrical installations. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects. Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues and ensure proper operation. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits to support industrial automation and control systems. Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry, schematics interpretation, and general construction activities as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols, including proper handling of high voltage systems and adherence to OSHA regulations. Assist with schematic reading and understanding complex electrical diagrams for installation or troubleshooting tasks. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and contribute to ongoing upgrades or renovations of existing infrastructure. Demonstrate handyman skills when necessary for minor repairs or adjustments on-site. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven experience in commercial, industrial electrician work, or renovation projects. Extensive knowledge of NEC standards, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical code compliance. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, high voltage circuits, and industrial electrician tasks. Proficiency using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; testing equipment like ohmmeters. Strong background working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and execute installation or repair tasks efficiently. Experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry or general construction activities is a plus. Handyman experience is beneficial for versatile problem-solving on-site.
