At Install IoT, we help IoT companies install, maintain, and train IoT devices across a variety of different industries. As we expand our reach, we're looking for Electricians as independent contractors to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to work on a dynamic schedule and the opportunity to grow within the realm of IoT technologies. Position Summary We are seeking a State Licensed Electrician in Florida to support an on-site IoT installation project at a facility in Miami. This role is focused on hands-on electrical work and device installation, including energy monitoring equipment and sensor deployment. Scope of Work Install and mount IoT gateways Install smart current transformers (energy monitoring clamps) inside electrical panels Install and secure temperature sensors Ensure safe and code-compliant electrical work Assist with basic device power-up and connectivity verification Requirements Active State Electrician License in Florida (Required) Experience working inside electrical panels Familiarity with installing current transformers (CTs) or similar monitoring devices Ability to follow safety protocols and site requirements Own tools and PPE Reliable transportation to job site Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with IoT or smart building installations Experience with low-voltage devices and gateways Basic networking knowledge (helpful but not required)
