Master Electrician•Electrical Contracting Department Lead About Brooksource Brooksource is partnering with EOLA Power to hire a Master Electrician•Electrical Contracting Department Lead. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting the expansion of EOLA Power's electrical contracting services. About EOLA Power EOLA Power is a leader in the critical power industry, specializing in UPS systems, battery systems, and backup power solutions. As they expand into electrical contracting services, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician to lead and grow this new department. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building a division from the ground up while contributing to mission-critical projects. Position Summary The Master Electrician will oversee all aspects of EOLA Power's Electrical Contracting services while actively performing hands-on electrical work in the field. This role includes managing commercial electrical projects, supervising installations, ensuring compliance with all safety and code regulations, and building a team to execute high-quality work. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial electrical experience, particularly within critical power systems such as UPS systems, transfer switches, and generators. Key Responsibilities Hands-On Field Work Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs for critical power systems including UPS systems, transfer switches, and generators Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues Serve as the primary technical expert on critical power installations and upgrades Department Leadership Lead the development and growth of the Electrical Contracting division Build, mentor, and manage a team of electricians and apprentices Develop strategies to expand electrical contracting services Project Management Plan and execute electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met Collaborate with clients, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery Compliance & Safety Ensure all work complies with NEC, local building codes, and safety regulations Conduct safety training and site inspections Obtain and maintain necessary permits and licenses Technical Expertise & Client Support Provide expert-level troubleshooting for electrical systems, particularly critical power installations Support sales and engineering teams with technical input during planning and client consultations Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors Required Qualifications Active Master Electrician License in the state of Florida 10+ years of commercial electrical installation experience Experience with critical power systems (UPS, transfer switches, generators preferred) Proven leadership experience managing crews and overseeing large-scale projects Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Critical power installations within data centers, hospitals, or other mission-critical facilities Experience with estimating, procurement, budgeting, and electrical contracting operations
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
