This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge network infrastructure, telecommunication systems, and security solutions. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of vital communication and data systems, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our clients' facilities. We're seeking motivated professionals who thrive in field service environments and are passionate about delivering top-tier electrical solutions. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including Energy Management System (EMS), a network of hardware and software that monitors, controls, and optimizes energy generation, storage, and consumption. Ethernet networks, and data communication infrastructure. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installation and repair tasks. Perform fiber splicing, cable routing, and network wiring using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal connectivity. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on telecommunication equipment such as Cisco routers, Juniper switches, Avaya systems, and other networking hardware. Assist with network installation projects in data centers or large facilities, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols. Use testing equipment like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within low voltage circuits and systems. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system status, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance procedures. Experience Proven experience as a Low Voltage Electrician or Service Technician working with electrical systems related to telecommunications or data networking. Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks), Ethernet cabling (Cat5, Cat6), and telephony systems such as VoIP and traditional telephony. Hands-on experience with fiber splicing techniques and cabling infrastructure installation in commercial environments. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals specific to low voltage systems. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, testing devices like ohmmeters, and equipment repair tools efficiently. Knowledge of NEC electrical standards related to low voltage wiring installations in accordance with safety regulations.
