Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and assemble electrical components according to schematics and blueprints. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and verify circuit integrity. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures related to construction and electrical work. Support the installation of low voltage systems including data, communication, and security wiring as needed. Experience Prior experience or training in residential or commercial electrician work is highly desirable. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and teamwork in active environments. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in electrical installations. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with low voltage systems, NEC standards, and high voltage safety practices is a plus. Experience with Ohmmeters or similar testing devices for troubleshooting electrical circuits. Knowledge of frame carpentry or related construction skills can be beneficial but is not required.
