As part of our continued growth under the One Norlee platform, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Electrical Service Technician to join our team. Position Summary The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical systems and equipment at customer sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently while representing Norlee Group with professionalism and integrity. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, controls, and associated equipment. Perform service calls, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Install, modify, and upgrade electrical components and systems per NEC and local codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and clearly communicate solutions to customers and internal teams. Complete accurate service documentation, reports, and time entries. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory in a clean and organized manner. Collaborate with project managers, dispatch, and other trades as needed. Provide excellent customer service and represent Norlee Group in a professional manner at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred. 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Service Technician, Foreman or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting methods, and NEC requirements. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Preferred Certifications & Skills Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent (preferred). OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification. Experience in commercial and industrial service environments. Familiarity with low-voltage systems, controls, or building automation is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
