Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Pay Rate Range:

$26 to $30 an hr Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues and ensure safety compliance. Perform maintenance on industrial equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components. Assist in renovation projects by updating or replacing existing wiring systems while adhering to safety protocols. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or within existing structures. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, including high voltage and low voltage standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams to coordinate project timelines. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for accountability and future reference. Support ongoing training on schematics reading, NEC updates, and new electrical technologies. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings is highly desirable. Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage installations, and automation controls. Practical knowledge of NEC regulations governing electrical installations. Experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or rewiring. Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers alongside power tools like drills and saws. Previous handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support. Ability to operate ohmmeters for testing circuits and troubleshoot electrical faults effectively. Strong safety awareness with adherence to all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
