Electrician/Electrician Helper

Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician and Electrician Apprentice/Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in commercial settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure proper installation of electrical systems in new builds or renovations. Perform low voltage installations including security systems, data cabling, and lighting controls. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while working on construction sites. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations. Requirements Proven 1 year experience as an Electrician or Electrician Apprentice/Helper in industrial or commercial settings. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
