Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience in a mobile home plant setting. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of electrical infrastructure, supporting the success of our projects and operations. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance procedures. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to perform electrical work on construction sites and renovation projects. Test electrical systems using instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure safety and compliance. Collaborate with Supervisor, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate installation activities efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system modifications or repairs for future reference. Follow all safety protocols on construction sites or industrial facilities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems; familiarity with NEC regulations is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools required for installation tasks. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation applications. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects within the construction industry. Ability to use testing instruments like ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting purposes. Strong background in both commercial electrician tasks and industrial electrician responsibilities is preferred. Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
