Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Non-Union Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This role requires a strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team on both new construction and maintenance projects.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an electrician training program or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Valid electrician's license or certification (if required by state or locality).
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with telecommunication projects.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and controls.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in physically demanding environments.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Starting at $30.00/hour
