Job Description Purpose The Electrical Maintenance Technician will maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. They will be required to work on a variety of electrical equipment ranging from lighting systems, to power distribution, and motors. Responsibilities Performs troubleshooting and repairs on all commercial and industrial equipment. Examples Variable Frequency Drives Motors and Controls Power Distribution Systems Lighting Management Systems Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a large variety of equipment including infrared scanning and static bonding and grounding. Communicates, through various means, such as email, voicemail, and maintenance management system (Maximo) the status of ongoing work activities. Will work with voltages up to 13,200. Must have at a minimum experience with 480 volts. Adhere to Abbvies code of conduct Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met. Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis Capable of training others on tasks. Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization. Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations. Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization Qualifications HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions. CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools) Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows) Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes ingood faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimatelypay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/visioninsurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
