Installation & Operations About Us We are a growing solar energy company dedicated to providing reliable, affordable, and sustainable solar solutions to residential and commercial clients. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician specialized in solar panels to join us. Role Overview As a Solar Panel Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, wiring, testing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You will work closely with our installation team to ensure that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes. Key Responsibilities Install, connect, and troubleshoot solar PV systems, including inverters, wiring, and electrical panels. Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), state, and local regulations. Perform testing and commissioning of new solar installations. Maintain and repair solar panel systems as needed. Collaborate with the project manager and installation team to complete projects on schedule. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functionality and answering client questions. Qualifications Licensed Electrician in Illinois (Journeyman or Master preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience working with solar PV systems. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures. Familiarity with solar inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills NABCEP certification (a plus, but not required). Experience with both residential and commercial solar projects. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off.
