has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician with knowledge, skills, and experience to support the fabrication of the lifting equipment. The Electrician will electrify and assemble electrical components of the lifting equipment products. All work tasks are performed in a safe manner while following plant policies and procedures. How Will You Make an Impact In this role, your primary duty will be to install electrical conduit systems including bending, cutting, and securing conduit to meet layout specifications. This role requires a safety mind-set, self-motivated person with a positive attitude, a ton of good energy, and effective time management. A successful candidate will be someone who can: Work in a safe Actively participates in REEL's safety, health, and environmental programs. Attends scheduled team meetings and completes safety training requirements. Keeps work area safe and clean. Assemble and wire electrical panels according to schematics and engineering drawings. Install and connect electrical components to equipment such as lights, cameras, control panels, and sensors. Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. Read and interpret manufacturing plans or blueprints both imperial (inches and feet) and metric systems. Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to integrate electrical systems into equipment assemblies. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, modifications, and repairs. Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. Handle and move parts, assemblies, and equipment, using overhead crane, truck lift or similar lifting equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. What Will You Bring to REEL USA
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certificate in electrical or electronic technology preferred, or equivalent experience including military. 4 to 5 years of training and classroom instruction and job experience in an industrial setting. Willing and able to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills. Able to work independently as well. Self-motivated with a track record of dependability including work history. A proven positive safety, health, and environmental record. Familiar with topics such as personal protective equipment, confined space entry, lockout / tagout, hot work, safe work permitting, emergency response, and hazard awareness. Accurate and consistent in performing tasks. Familiar with safe and effective use of basic hand tools. Able to read blueprints. Ability to learn stud welding, drilling, treading/tapping, deburring, and sawing. Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and good touch perception. Basic math skills. Able to troubleshoot problems to subtle adjustments to identify and eliminate root cause. Strong problem-solving skills. Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to remain calm and react effectively in critical situations. Experience with accident and near miss reporting, incident investigation, and accountability to standards. Ability to learn/Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and aerial work platforms. Flexible in performing changing assignments and work schedules.
