Discover more at www.dextergroup.com. Are You the Troubleshooter Everyone Calls After Dark? Do you enjoy taking on tough PLC faults, chasing down intermittent issues in solid-state controls, and bringing a CNC line back to life—fast? If so, this role invites you to own the reliability of our overnight manufacturing operations and lead by example when supervisors aren't on site. Your Mission Find and fix electrical problems using sound judgment, relevant codes, and proven best practices. Diagnose complex issues on CNC machines and robotic systems with methodical, advanced techniques. Perform failure analyses and implement long-term corrective solutions that prevent recurrence. Troubleshoot and adjust PLCs (including ladder logic) with the aid of diagnostic software and tools. Maintain and repair solid-state devices and integrated control architectures. Independently carry out repairs and provide guidance to teammates as needed. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to keep performance optimal. Respond with urgency to production requests to reduce downtime. Step into a leadership capacity during the shift in the absence of supervision. What Makes You Effective Here Depth in industrial electrical systems, automation, CNC, and robotics. Proven strength in troubleshooting electrical and control systems. Applied knowledge of electrical theory and formulas in manufacturing contexts. Experience with PLCs and ladder logic development/diagnostics. Comfort operating independently at a fast pace with minimal oversight. Analytical, solutions-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Availability for overtime as production requires. Consistent attendance and reliability. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles. Ability to contribute to a collaborative, team-first environment. Education & Experience Pathways Associate's degree (two-year college/technical school) OR 5+ years related experience/training OR a comparable blend of education and experience.
