Position Summary GEMCO is seeking experienced Traveling Industrial Electricians to support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects across the United States. This role performs electrical installation work on active construction projects including conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, terminations, lighting, switchgear, controls, and power distribution systems. Electricians work closely with Foremen and other field leadership to safely execute projects while maintaining quality and production standards. We are specifically looking for candidates with commercial or industrial electrical construction experience. This is not a residential electrician role. Typical travel rotation is approximately 17 days on-site followed by 4 days home. Primary Responsibilities Install conduit, cable tray, feeders, branch wiring, panels, lighting, switchgear, and related electrical systems Pull, terminate, label, and test conductors and electrical equipment Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, specifications, and electrical drawings Perform electrical rough-in, trim-out, and equipment installation Install and wire controls, sensors, disconnects, and electrical devices Troubleshoot and correct electrical issues during installation and startup Coordinate work activities with Foremen and other trades on active construction sites Maintain productivity, quality, and safe work practices throughout the project Mentor apprentices and helpers as needed Follow all company safety policies including PPE, LOTO, permits, and jobsite requirements Qualifications Commercial or industrial electrical construction experience required Experience with conduit bending, wire pulls, terminations, and electrical installations Ability to read electrical drawings and construction documents Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices Experience working on active commercial or industrial jobsites Valid driver's license required Must be willing and able to travel extensively Benefits & Perks Paid travel and per diem Private hotel room with kitchenette Travel reimbursement Overtime opportunities Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, and 401(k) Opportunity for advancement with a growing national contractor Why GEMCO?
