  • Work with a trusted team of electricians, HVAC & plumbing experts About You The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and installations with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role requires expertise in various electrical tasks including reading blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyperson Electrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services in both residential and light commercial settings. Responsibilities Perform residential or light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues or replacements in compliance with state and local electrical codes. Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management. Complete all estimates and notes in an accurate and timely manner. Explain and provide estimates for the services to be performed for maintenance or repair and ensure it is completed to the customer's satisfaction. Maximize lead opportunities based on company's business plan. Provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work. Participate in all company-sponsored training classes. Always maintain a professional image by wearing only company provided apparel
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record Ability to pass drug screenings and background check High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years verifiable residential electrical service experience Knowledge of local and national electrical codes Proficiency in reading blueprints and basic cost estimating Strong oral and reading skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Proficient multitasking and adaptability Team player with positive attitude Ability to use smartphone and iPad Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb in and out of box trucks & vans Ability to climb ladders of all kinds and work on the roof of a house Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week as necessary to meet specific organizational requirements Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for extended periods. May work in confined or awkward spaces, carrying necessary equipment and supplies. Exposure to sensory demands including but not limited to sounds from power tools and dust and debris.
