Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure, supporting our operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from routine maintenance to complex renovations, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to keep our operations running smoothly. This is a second shift position Duties Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage circuits, to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and testing tools such as ohmmeters and power tools Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, motors, switches, and other electrical components following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs Conduct installation of new electrical systems during renovation or construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites or in maintenance areas Collaborate with contractors or other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services to coordinate electrical work within larger renovation projects Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems Hands-on experience reading schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage electrical systems Familiarity with NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage safety procedures, and the use of testing instruments like ohmmeters Join us in maintaining a safe and efficient environment by applying your electrical expertise!
