Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Electrician and become a vital part of our innovative production environment! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems that power our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in manufacturing operations, including low voltage and high voltage circuits. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately perform installations and repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues and ensure optimal system performance. Maintain compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety protocols during all electrical work. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects or new installations on the manufacturing site. Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly for safety audits and operational records. Requirements Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Hands-on experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical schematics related to electrical installations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment effectively. Knowledge of NEC standards and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing environments. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems is highly desirable. Construction site experience including renovation projects or new facility setups preferred. Familiarity with schematic diagrams related to electrical wiring and system layouts. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as needed for installation or maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a handyman mindset for troubleshooting diverse electrical issues.
