Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Electrician (Indiana Licensed) to provide temporary on-site electrical support across diverse construction and renovation projects. This role is vital in ensuring all electrical work complies with safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices. As a Master Electrician, you will lead electrical installations, troubleshoot complex systems, and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality results efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment while supporting critical infrastructure upgrades and new construction initiatives. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all electrical activities on-site, ensuring adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise electrical installations and repairs. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems to support automation processes. Conduct inspections of electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment during construction or renovation projects to ensure quality standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues promptly. Document all work performed through detailed reports, including schematic updates, inspection logs, and compliance records. Skills Extensive experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems on construction sites. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations. Strong knowledge of the NEC standards governing electrical safety and installation practices. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. Ability to handle low voltage and high voltage wiring safely and effectively. Familiarity with renovation projects involving complex electrical upgrades or modifications. Solid understanding of schematics interpretation for troubleshooting electrical issues.
