Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, working with various power tools, and adhering to safety standards on construction sites. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter and other testing equipment. Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required by project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any necessary documentation for inspections. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are highly desirable.
