Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems, with experience in construction environments. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. The Electrician will work on diverse sites, including construction sites and existing facilities, utilizing a wide range of tools and schematics to complete assignments efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters (Ammeter), ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Perform wiring, conduit bending, and framing carpentry as needed for electrical installations Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate installation activities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial environments Construction site experience preferred Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Knowledge of NEC standards for low voltage and high voltage systems Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices Experience with frame carpentry related to electrical installations is a plus Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and procedures Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction projects Relevant certifications or licenses are highly desirable This position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and technical expertise. #ODSTech This job description represents a summary of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
