  • South Bend, IN (Direct Hire) Overview The Maintenance Electrician supports production in line with the company's needs and will primarily focus on electrical troubleshooting.
Areas of expertise also include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting mechanical systems and operational issues across various machines. This role reports to the maintenance manager. We are a world-leading wire manufacturer specializing in the development and production of advanced spring wire made from various alloys. Our high-quality products serve critical applications such as valve springs, transmission springs, piston rings, wave springs, die springs, linear guides, and springs for injection systems.
Pay Range :
$28/hr.
  • $38/hr.
depending on experience
Shift Available :
1st Shift, Monday
  • Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Focus on electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues across various machines and systems. Participate in daily maintenance meetings to discuss plant issues and provide feedback. Support continuous improvement efforts and share technical knowledge with team members. Respond quickly to production interruptions — production continuity is the top priority. Required Skills and Abilities 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a production environment A solid understanding of industrial maintenance concepts Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exemplify safe work practices and follow the company's compliance standards
Nice-to-Have's :
Familiar with wire manufacturing or a similar industry Hands-on troubleshooting with PLCs
