1st Shift Electrician

Job Title:

Licensed Electrician $35-40/hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled and licensed electrician to join our team in the Junction City, KS area for a day shift position. This role involves performing electrical maintenance, repair, and installation for building equipment and systems, with a focus on 480V and below. Responsibilities + Perform all duties necessary for electrical maintenance, repair, and installation of building electrical equipment and systems. + Utilize multimeters and electrical diagnostic testing techniques proficiently on all electrical components. + Operate and manage work order systems, dispatching, and recording systems effectively, following all procedures for receiving and completing work assignments. + Conduct various electrical installations and repairs related to all electrical facilities and equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code ( NEC ). + Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, and adjusting of electrical equipment. + Ensure equipment maintenance is conducted safely and efficiently to minimize downtime through proactive testing and scheduled maintenance. Essential Skills + Electrical wiring and conduit installation + Troubleshooting and electrical maintenance + Installation and mechanical skills + Proficiency in using hand and power tools in the electrical trade Additional Skills & Qualifications + Journeyman Electrician license required + High school diploma or equivalent + Valid driver's license + Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and practices + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rough drawings + Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted + Excellent problem-solving skills + Attention to detail and multitasking abilities + Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversions Why Work Here?
