Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for providing electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, installations, and customer support in the field. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, safety-minded, and able to communicate well with customers, contractors, and team members. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and a commitment to doing quality work the right way. Technicians Should Have Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills Listening to and understanding customer needs Prioritizing work and responding professionally Problem-solving and providing practical solutions Organizing daily tasks and service calls Adapting to changing project needs, schedules, and customer requests Communicating clearly with customers, contractors, and internal team members Service Technician Responsibilities Include Provide electrical service and customer support in the field Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks Recommend repairs, upgrades, or modifications based on customer needs Manage time effectively and complete work in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Treat customers, contractors, and team members with professionalism and respect Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, manuals, and technical information Inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components Document completed work, service reports, time sheets, and job information accurately Coordinate the care and maintenance of company service vehicles, tools, and equipment Follow company policies, safety expectations, and applicable electrical codes Experience and Education 3-7 years of electrical service experience preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Electrical apprenticeship, trade school, or related field training preferred Journeyman license or applicable electrical certifications preferred Commercial, residential, or light industrial electrical experience preferred Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and completing service repairs Ability to work independently while representing the company professionally in the field Experience working directly with customers, contractors, or developers is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on jobsites for extended periods Ability to lift and carry tools, materials, ladders, and equipment as needed Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions Ability to safely operate a company service van for work-related travel Benefits 10 days of PTO, and increases to 15 days after 5 years of full-time employment Fully covered health insurance for employee only plans (family plans are discounted) Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with up to 6% company match Profit-sharing 401(k) contributions Company service van provided for work use Approved electrical education reimbursement PTO bonuses for successful project leads Year-end bonuses Steady work with a company focused on long-term employment Peak Performance HR Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
