Journeyman Electrician - Salina, KS

Journeyman Electrician - Salina, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our facility in Salina, KS. This role works Monday through Thursday from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., plus occasional overtime as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance Willing to learn and/or work on mechanical/electrical hardware CNC and PLC troubleshooting Must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills Maintains equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs Ability to perform electronic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments Provide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures are maintained Help with scheduling down time for machine repairs or preventive maintenance

Qualifications:

Must provide proof of an electrical license Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Excellent verbal/written communication and computer skills preferred Provide tools for the trade At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our Company a great place to work and grow.
