Full Job Description Licensed Journeyman Electrician Location:
Wichita, KS Compensation:
Prevailing Wage Position Base Wage:
$38.05/hour
Fringe Benefit:
$17.80/hour
Total Wage Determination Package:
$55.85/hour We are seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support ongoing federal construction projects in the Wichita, Kansas area. This position offers immediate project-based work with opportunities for additional assignments on future federal projects. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in federal facilities Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings Perform conduit installation, wire pulling, rough-in, device installation, terminations, testing, and commissioning Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, project specifications, and safety requirements Coordinate with project management and other trades to support successful project completion Qualifications Current Journeyman Electrician License Commercial electrical experience required Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Preferred Qualifications Experience working on federal, military, or government construction projects OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Ability to obtain and maintain access to federal facilities Future Opportunities This position is based in Wichita and tied to ongoing local project work. Individuals willing to travel may have opportunities to support additional federal construction projects in other locations when local work is not available. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.
