Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our facility team, ensuring the seamless operation of complex production machinery. You will leverage your expertise in PLC troubleshooting and electrical systems to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency across our manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex electrical malfunctions to restore equipment functionality and maximize production uptime. Execute preventative maintenance on motors, air valves, and control systems to proactively identify and mitigate potential failures. Perform precise electrical wiring, modifications, and system upgrades in accordance with industrial safety standards. Utilize diagnostic tools to measure voltage and resistance, ensuring accurate repairs and installations. Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities and parts usage to support inventory management and equipment history. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide emergency response support and ensure a safe, compliant work environment. Optimize the performance of timers, counters, and automated conveyor systems to meet rigorous quality standards. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Demonstrated proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and equipment installation. Ability to pass technical competency assessments such as the NOCTI. Preferred Skills Experience working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with facility supervisors and maintenance teams.
