Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match About the Role A growing industrial systems integration company supporting the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a full-time Controls Electrician / Panel Builder. This role focuses on control panel assembly, secondary wiring, equipment debugging, and commissioning for material handling and conveyor control systems used in OEM and Tier 1 manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with electrical schematics, PLC-related components, and industrial automation equipment. Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics Build and wire industrial control panels Assemble PLC, power supply, motor control, and safety circuits Perform secondary wiring for conveyors and machine cells Debug and troubleshoot equipment after fabrication Maintain organization and cleanliness of the panel shop Support commissioning activities for automated material handling systems Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred Equivalent technical certification or relevant hands-on experience accepted Experience with industrial control panels and electrical wiring Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Willingness to travel approximately 35% depending on project requirements Preferred Skills Experience with PLC-based control systems Familiarity with conveyor systems and machine integration Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and within a project team environment
