Job Description
Position Summary Close the Loop is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Electrician to support and improve the electrical systems that power our recycling operations. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial electrical equipment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with industrial machinery, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automated production equipment in a manufacturing or processing environment. The Senior Industrial Electrician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant. Benefits Excellent benefits package including Health, Vision, and Company-Paid Dental Company-Paid Life Insurance 8 Paid Holidays 401k after 60 Days of Employment PTO that begins accruing on Day 1 Essential Duties & Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on industrial production equipment Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment Install and program Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment Support maintenance and production teams during equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement long-term solutions Maintain electrical components on conveyors, shredders, grinders, balers, sortation equipment, and other recycling machinery Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies Assist with equipment upgrades, facility expansions, and capital improvement projects Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Mentor and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and junior electricians Work closely with Operations and Maintenance leadership to improve equipment performance and plant efficiency Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 7+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing, processing, recycling, or production environment.
Strong understanding of:
Industrial motor controls PLC troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Electrical distribution systems Sensors and automation equipment Three-phase electrical systems Control panel wiring and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Experience with preventive maintenance programs Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment around moving machinery Preferred Qualifications Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs Experience with conveyor systems, shredders, grinders, balers, or recycling equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and

standards Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. $27.20 - $32.76 per hour
