Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description As a Journeyman Electrician you will be required to perform all types of electrical work in commercial construction and healthcare environments. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities you will be completing the following: Wiring Bending, Threading, EMT and Rigid conduit Troubleshooting and completing electrical circuits Complete transformers, motor control, switchboards, and lighting applications Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, and other reference material Receive and complete work orders Capable of training Electrical apprentices Able to work with minimal supervision Operate tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures Versatile to work in commercial and industrial environments Qualifications Kentucky electrical license is recommended but not required 5+ Years of experience recommended Valid drivers license Own your own hand tools Proficiency with NEC and local codes Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening Benefits/Culture Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
